From a small pick & carry crane for lighter tasks to a large Franna crane with superior lifting capacity of even 20 tons. The latest addition in the range of Franna cranes is Franna AT-18.
The Franna AT-18 is a great pick & carry crane that offers an incredible level of safety for the operators, thanks to the many new safety features and driver ergonomics. The cabin of this crane is built with operators' comfort in mind, so it has a spacious interior, pilot-operated hydraulics, a load indicator and a binnacle-type dashboard. The fuel tank and the hydraulic oil are integrated around the engine at the rear, with the latest design in a boom structure up front and adjustable wear pads.

When it comes to specifications, this 18-tonne pick & carry crane is one of the most powerful in the market. At radius of 1.26 meters, the Franna AT-18 is able to handle 18-tonnes loads, while at 2 meters, 2 tonnes less. Its hook is long 16.75 meters, while the whole crane is long 9.67 meters and 2.5 meters width. With a fuel tank capacity of 290 litres, the operators can rely on many hours of uninterrupted operation for a fuel refill. As all Franna cranes, the AT-18 includes a powerful 6-cylinder Hino H07C-T, turbo-charged engine that provides 162 kW and 217 horsepower @ 2800 rpm.
The Franna AT-18 has 4-speed fully automatic transmission and is called Allison MT643. Its steering is exceptional, as it has full-power ORBITROL with two Hydraulic double-acting rams: a supply from the main pump and another from the electro-hydraulic emergency pump. This crane has power, finesse and incredible versatility to lift almost anything and anywhere, just like all Franna cranes. However, it includes many additional controls and features, such as air conditioning, a central greasing, a man basket, a 6-speed manual transmission, a fly jib and a spare wheel carrier.
